    My daughter asked me. I could not help her. And I used to be good that this. Old age. What can I say. (it is about factoring)

    (a-5)squared -36

    Yup I am stumpted.
    Startdate: November 18, 2007. Female 5'2"

    Push-ups: 450/800
    Abs: 850/1900
    Squats: 650/1200
    Lunges: 500/1000
    Strength: 490/1200
    Running: 50/100 km

    Yup I am stumpted.

    You have

    a^2 - b^2 = (a-b)(a+b)

    so for the thing above you have

    (a-5)^2 - 36 = (a-5)^2 - 6^2 = (a-5-6)(a-5+6) = (a-11)(a+1).
