Fantastic photos, we get to see the aurora borealis where I live a lot of the time especially on clear winter or summer nights. Solar flare activity make it more visible/active.velcrocat aka Ladyjean aka Lana has returned to the fold. In North West Highlands they're a regular sight. The Western Isles are a good spot. The Isle of Skye, John O Groats, Wester Ross Coastal etc.
Best time to view them at their most clear is end of September - end of March between 11pm - 4am
