I figured I'd post this here in an Off-topic type forum.
My dentist told me I need to get 2 Deep cleanings because my gums aren't going so great. I hadn't had any problems or anything...but I did miss the dentist for 5 years
So, now I have 3 dentist appointments coming up (one for a cavity and two for this deep root planning or whatever it's called). Has anyone experienced it? Someone I work with told me it was sooo painful. She said she went through 4 natural births out of her 6 children and this procedure hurt more.
1) Should I be worried?
2) Do dentists tend to lean towards bad gums now adays or anything like that? I want to make sure this is 100% legit diagnosis.
