Hi, I love to hear what is going on all over the country and the world with weather, temps, storms, extreme weather stories. Sometimes sharing is the best way to cope when the weather turns ugly! Thursday night/ Friday am --- 4" of Snow shut down Houston!
First of all, This November was the 7th warmest November on record for our area.
Tonight/Monday am- no big deal!
Snow in the morning tapers to flurries with accumulations of an inch of two especially north of the city toward Wisconsin. Peeks of sun in the afternoon. Southwest winds 10-20 mph becoming gusty northwest.
Chicago Area-Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning-
"Major winter storm here or nearby.Snow or a wintry mix changing to snow; significant accumulations. Possibly 5"-6". Very windy. Poor visibility. Strong WNW winds gusting over 40 mph. Temps falling to single digits by daybreak Thursday."
