Gold Star Mom - a poem

My wife was sent this tonight, she sent it to me.. I should not have been listening to Metallica's "Nothing else matters". For some reason that song has always effected me.. Anyway, this poem was written by a Gold Star Father for the Gold Star mothers.. It really kicked my butt.

I have a friend who was both a Gold Star Mother and a Gold Star Wife. I don't know how she survived...
