Im nosey! What did you get for Valentines and what did you give?

It was Valentines day yesterday so what did you get and what did you give?


Well my hubi got me 2 bottles of perfume and a card with a rose.
I got him NOTHING.............I know bad of me.Poor him he got himself a shirt and an aftershave from me(how sweet).I guess he knew he I was not going to get him something.
Afterwards I felt bad and I promise you all Im going to make his bday special which is coming up in April.

I did nothing too exciting. I made a really big yummy valentine breakfast that I know my family would love. Pancakes, cream and strawberries. (I made the legal pancakes for me) My husband went for a walk with me even if it was cold because I love that and he indulged by watching some of those Olympic ski and skating things even the pair dance. All in all a good day.

He gave me a beautiful pair a jammies wrapped in a silver nordstom box with a big bow. It was especially sweet because I had been complaining about my favorite pair of jammies wearing out, so he went out shopping for them especially for me. He also made me a sweet card and wrote mushy stuff.

I bought him a pair of jeans and gave him sees candy (sm box) and my son a sm box of sees candy.

We went to church and then I went to work. Not much time to celebrate but it was sweet.

I didn't get anything for my hubby and I didn't want him to get anything for me BUT when I got home from work I had a nice new designer hand bag waiting for me on my kitchen table

At least Im not alone.I also feel bad for my hubi.
I know if I didnt get a present I would sulk and be upset with him all day and even though I gave him nothing he was alright about it.Oh how I love him,his so sweet.

DH and I did Valentine's Day on Saturday because he had to work on Sunday. We went to dinner and I had the most amazing rack of lamb with asparagus. It was so good. DH had filet mignon with twice baked potato.

I gave him one of those ipod dock mount thingys. He gave me roses. They smelled so good. I gave my son some candy and a teddy bear.

I got DH a Framing Gun ( Nothing says I love you like a powertool )
He took me shopping. We spent the day going to the big Outlet Mall an hour away. While there he bought me a new pair of UGGS, a pair of Coach Boots and a Coach purse to match. When we got home the florist had delivered flowers that he had also sent me. I have a wonderful hubby.

For dinner I made Ribeye, Roasted Veggies, Baked Potato for him, Salad for me and then I made him and my Father in Law Chocolate Parfaits for dessert. I didn't even sneak a taste to see if they were good. I was so proud of myself.

Since my husband is doing Atkins along with me, we didn't want to go out to dinner partially because of the temptations, but mostly because of
the $$$$. We roasted a nice standing rib roast (only $3.99 a pound) which was better than any prime rib you can get in any restaurant and still had leftovers for Monday!
