What are you all up to?
I am hoping for a very yummy breakfast and maybe a family walk or something. And if everyone wants to watch the apprentice with me later I would be happy.

Thanks to the mothers out there for all the thought, care, effort and time you spend taking care of your families. I hope that each and every one of you feel appreciate all year, not just this day, but that at least some effort is made to make this day extra special for you.

            Re: Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all our moms! I lost my mom very suddenly a couple years ago so this day is somewhat bittersweet...a little sad missing her but grateful and happy for all the wonderful memories.

On another note, I'm more than a little miffed that someone stole the flowers I put at her gravesite yesterday afternoon. Someone also stole the Easter flowers I put at my parents gravesite...not just one but three different plants until I finally got fed up and wrote our last name and the plot# on the pot. Sad commentary on our world today.

Hmmm...well that was kind of a debbie downer moment. Sorry about that. I feel better telling someone though. OK, back to Mom Day: I hope all our moms here on ADBB have a wonderful day full of LC brunch items and lots of love from your families!

Mizski I am so sorry to hear that.. that is absolutely terrible...I do have to tell you, however, not that this takes away from that horrible situation, but I am making for myself for breakfast one of your recipes.....so thank you very much for that!!!!

                Re: Happy Mother's Day

I took my mom out Friday evening (just the 2 of us) to an evening of Polynesian food and dancing. It was a very nice evening and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

Last night the hubs took me out to dinner at Outback for a wonderful evening (just the 2 of us).

Today we are having ham, fresh green beans (cooked with bacon), deviled eggs, salad and a "baked potato" Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes. Mom and the hubs will be having a regular baked potato.

Happy Mother's Day to each of you ladies out there - whether you are mom to a 2 legged or 4 legged kid!!

                    Re: Happy Mother's Day

Really Mizski - that was seriously a very bad act. What can those people be thinking?

So far has been a pretty good day. I have enjoyed it a lot. Had my run and pancake breakfast. maintenance is a good place to be. Pancakes with cream and strawberries and butter and syrup is pretty yummy on special occations. I could not get away with it every day for sure but that is life

Thanks Grant and everyone for greetings and continued good day for all of you.
