    OK next question

    Or two questions?
I guess I cannot download the Norton Internet security to 2 computers maybe? That seems to be causing a problem. If I have 2computers networked do they both need antivirus downloaded separately?
Also, I seem to have lost my toolbar for searching and going back?Any idea what happened or how I get it back???

OK, ummm, LOL. I have one computer in the living room area and one in the kids bedroom. I have a D-Link wireless setup so I only have the actual cable running in to the one in the living room.
I only have enough knowledge to be dangerous Perry! LOL. I am not sure what you need to know?

So, they're not networked to each other but to a router? If so, you can get away without the security software because its built into the router. Now, if you have somehow connected your wireless DLink to the computer that is 'cabled' and share an Internet connection through that one computer I would suggest investing in a wireless router.

I'll hold off on any more comments until you help me understand your network a tad better!

I am looking at a wireless router, D-Link, does that help?

Yep. I understand. The router should work as your Internet Security. If you want virus protection then you need Norton. And it should be installed on both PC's. I don't know if you need a separate license for each one, though.

OK so are you saying I don't need Internet security, just virus protection? I am going to have to call Norton tomorrow because I thought I could install this on 2 computers. But maybe that was just the virus protection program I had earlier. I can't remember.
Thanks Perry, for being out there!!
