So I use Mastercook. The 7.0 Deluxe Low Carb version, to be exact. Great, love the software, etc.

But how the heck do I backup my ENTIRE database of recipes with this thing? Not just a recipe or two, but the entire thing?

I don't use Master Cook (I have Big Oven) but there should be an option on one of the buttons at the top to back up the whole thing. Click on File, Tools, or whatever you have at the top. One of the options should say "Back up Master Cook" or something similar. Click on that and follow the instructions and it should back up the whole database. HTH.

I like Master Cook, but the recipes are posted on my hard drive and so I don't bother to back them up.

Alas, there doesn't seem to be such option anywhere. I can "export" - but that only exports a handful at a time - not the entire database.

I know Mastercook 8.0 allows you to backup the entire database, but it looks like 7.0 does not. Argh!

I have both a laptop and desktop that I use on a regular basis, so basically I wanted to share my recipes between the two by just carrying around the backup of the entire database on my USB keychain, much the same way I do with my backup of Quicken. Alas, I don't know if this is possible.
