My dell crashed a couple of days ago and the guy replaced it with a hp pavilionx1848 with windows millineum since I was still under warranty. I have AVG virus protector and a NeroSmartstart firewall.

My problem is this. I can not view jpgs in my Outlook Express. I KNOW that last computer I had to click on something to enable me to view things that could potentially contian harmful viruses. But I can't find it or remember. The guy I got it from says I need some kind of program as windows doesn't come with it...I think he is full of it....any ideas...??

hmmmm.....I know that in Explorer - not sure if this would affect Outlook - but you have to right click on the icon, choose properties and choose security settings and move it from the "high" setting to medium or low.

Nevermind!!! I figured it out. In Outlook express under Tools, Options, Security and then have to unclick "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened....etc"

Thanks! I knew I would get the answer if I posted!
