I use the free PhotoFiltre to make mine. PSP would be nice, but I'm on a budget.

Re: Anyone have Paint Shop Pro?

I have PSP and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's fully functional - not a darn thing I can't do with it - and it's not nearly as bloated as PhotoShop (which I also have, but I always use PSP instead - go figure).

There are some seriously incredible tutorial websites out there for Paint Shop Pro. My absolute favorite and one of the most comprehensive I've ever found on the net is Paint Shop Pro Users Group. They have free online classes even and a tutorial archive that's amazing, as well as a fantastic message board. If you can't find it, ask on the board and someone there will know where to find what you're looking for or tell you how to do it themselves.

I'd *strongly* suggest signing up for the SLP classes (Self Learning Program). You can do it on your own time via email or you can attend their chat sessions - or both.

Google up PSP Tutorials or PSP Animation Tutorials or anything else for that matter and you'll find it.

Another suggestion I have is to invest in something like Paint Shop Pro for Dummies or there are a ton of really great e-books out there too.

It's so much fun to play with. One of the first things I did was start making my own background sets for webpages, then I started monkey'in with pictures and images and then animations and stuff. It's easy to get lost in, for sure!

Here's one of my favorites - just for fun :

I have PSP7 and have been using it for 4-5 years now, it is so fun and very addicting!

The easiest way to learn how to make yourself a siggy is to do a search for psp tutorials (there are tons out there!!!) and just follow the tuts and practice, practice, practice!! I must warn you though, you will be addicted in no time! LOL!

Here are a couple of examples of some I have made for myself....

OMGosh, you guys were so right! I got PSP 9 and fell in love! I have been doing some tuts and I joined a Yahoo beginners group, which I love. Each week, the mods give us newbies a tut to do as an assignment and then we "turn it in" to be looked at, corrected or graded to move on to the next tut. Plus they are there to answer all out questions and help us when things go wrong or anything. I love it! I also just recently got PSP X as well and like it, too. Not much different than 9 but it has a few new cool things to make it easier, like it displays the pics in your My Pictures file at the bottom so you don't have to browse you comp. to open it in PSP. I still haven't figured out how to do the siggys though. Also, those that want it, also, I know a website you can get PSP 8 or 9 for free.
