windows 95... don't laugh... I need help

I bought a cheap laptop with no OS for my little 8 year old niece

I thought I'd NEVER need the old operating systems again.... so I gave them to a guy last year..... my new computers have xp that i just restore if necessary... no cd at all..


I THOUGHT I still had one copy of 98 here... I dont

I have an original windows 95 cd... but I can't find the manual....

anybody willing to share a code so can get this junker going?

I paid $100 for the laptop on ebay.... she wants a camera for christmas... a digital one ... I'm just trying to get an old laptop together that she can view her pics... (she wants a barbie camera..... but I'm going to get a her a cheap real one... barbie only holds 6 pics)

thanks!! I got 95 going... I can't BELIEVE I gave away w98, 95, the updates... etc. etc..

good GRIEF I had no idea it would cost 50-60 bucks to replace 98!!

oh well...

turns out.. that little junkie laptop probably will go to my classroom to play solitaire in the kids free time... it's not worth much else... poor graphics.. etc.. and it's so old.. can't... or won't spend much upgrading it..


but.. I've already bought ANOTHER computer..... laptop.. a little better one...

and I'm going to try my luck using Linux...
