Curious email

It looked all official the sending addy was office@cia.gov
I would love to know what their "questions" were but not enough to risk downloading their file.

run your virus scan quick it is a known virus emai as is the one from the FBI they contain this virus

Lol,... that cracks me up... yah, like the CIA would send you an email about something like that... no no no, I'm sure they'd be at your door with a big black van with tinted windows and a lot of antenna's...

This is a known trojan e-mail. Just delete it. Nothing to see here...

For future reference, if your email client allows you to look at 'expanded headers' for the email, do. A huge tip off that an email is not legit is sent from or return to addresses that don't match. Also, if you can check source addresses for links, make sure you're actually being forwarded to the same domain (or better yet, manually type in all addresses).

The government still sends people to your door and everyone else still uses registered mail. Very few places send anything of importance only through email, and you generally have to initiate contact with them. Apparently the one exception being my company, who sent my transfer instructions to me in an email with no subject line...

Delete anything that looks suspicious - if it's really important, they'll get back to you.
