Enabling pop-ups in IE?

For some reason the work station I'm at right now has pop-ups disabled. It's driving me nuts - I can't check my home e-mail! I can't figure out how to enable the pop-ups on Internet Explorer (the only browser "The Man" let's us use). Any hints on how to enable them again?

In your search bar up top do they have the pop-up emblem? If so try clicking on it to see if you can pull up something that says allow pop ups from.... and then put the addy you are trying to get to.

Hope this works for you. I don't have one of those anymore so trying to remember from the past when I did have it.
