P2P file swapping with out spyware?

Does anyone know if there is such a program out there like morpheus but w/o the spyware.

I use an old version of Overnet/EDonkey2000, v .51 I think. Not sure if you can get that anymore, and I think the newer versions have spyware :no

I use Kazaa Lite, it works on the Kazaa network, and has all of the same functionality, but none of the spyware.

The trouble with most Peer-to-Peer (P2P) programs like Kazaa and Morpheus is also their strength: size. When you can search the files of ten million other users, you are more likely to find that specific title. However, you also have no control on WHO has access to your files. Enter my new favorite P2P program: Grouper.

Here, you can create your own groups with up to 30 people in each. Only those people you invite have access to the collection of files. This setup is a great way for families to safely exchange digital photos and other files. Give it a try. I think that once you use it for a while, you'll be hooked.

I like Grouper, but two things to be aware of:

You can't swap with strangers. You can't search worldwide for that latest album. It has to be shared by someone in your group.

Only one person is the source. With other programs, once someone finishes downloading (if not before), they also become a server source. With Grouper, everyone is getting from the same one sharer, so it can run slowly at times.

Geez...I've never even heard of most of these... LOL

I use Direct connect (DC++). I find it extremely voluminous and never have a problem finding what I'm looking for.
