Reminder to Run Windows update

Alot of MS security advisories (some critical) have come out in the past two days. It's a good time to remember to run your windows updates (under Tools, Windows Update in IE will take you to the update site). XP users usually get a pop up reminder.

It's really important to download and install any Microsoft critial security patches when they come out.

My computer's OS is Windows Me. I have my computer set to remind me of all critical updates. I have installed the two critical updates you mentioned. Thanks for reminding everyone!

Another reminder is to update your virus definations too. I run Norton Antivirus 2004, it updates automatically. Be sure and check for updates with Norton software too. Or whichever antivirus program you run.

You do run antivirus software, don't you??? If not, be sure and get some. Very important.

No one should run a PC without it..but many people don't run the windows updates at all. and many of them fix vulnerablilities in windows that antivirus won't repair.
