I'm new when it comes to firewire and stuff, so have I got this right?
Trying to get the wedding video off a panasonic mini DV digital vid camera. I can get stills via the pc connection cable (just goes into a com port). For video transfer onto my pc though, I need a firewire card and cable (the camera has a 4 pin hole, similar to what a digital camera usb hole looks like). Plus some software.
That right?
