new puter

I have a new puter. I have all my things saved on disk. Most of them can stay on the disk. But I would like to get my favorites from my old puter to this puter.
I was running Windows 98se on my old computer. And saved my entire favorites folder from the windows folder.
Now I'm running XP. I can't find the favorites folder. Where is it so I can add the contents inside or can I even do that like I could in win98?

Bring the favorites folder over to your new computer.

Do an 'import' of bookmarks (favorites) into Internet Explorer. File --> import/export.
