Gamers?
Hola Folk,Are any of you gamers...I mean wargamers,table-top rpg'ers,CCG'ers,etc...I'm a life long gamer,and almost everyone I played with was overweight,so I figured I'd find some on here*shrug*.Anyway,I guess I'm more of a nerd than a geek(it's a thin distinction lol),but I figured this would be the best place to pose this question.THNX.

Yes, I am. Not ashamed of it either. No, it's not excerize, (except for my wrists), but I enjoy it alot. The only game I play is World of Warcraft.. I'm a lvl 75 Draenei Shaman, elemental (fail) on the Dalvengyr server.HW- 425

i <3 my video games.........i am admittantly a diablo addict, as well as a call of duty world at war fiend at the moment...i also love my wii.....love talisman, the board game..used to be huge into lineage...i could go on and on....right up my alley

We used to play that game for 12 hours at a time. You can pick that one up for the PC and can play against AI or even play against other people.

You don't even have to buy it. DH plays a version online that he said is better than the disk version. He also plays battlecry online as well.Tricia

i love games. i play world of warcraft online. and mmorpg game like 9dragons and hero online. but i stop playing them recently. cause too many assignment to do. and it's better to stop than hooked to it everyday.

I tried to play WOW.....but the lowish graphics hurt my eyes.
I'm more into crysis-type graphics when I play games.
As far as fantasy I went with Guild wars cause its free to play with people and the graphics are really top notch on a descent system-video card.
I've been playing eve currently and its been so-so...I wouldn't recommend it myself.
There isn't a mmo out there that I can say I'm heads over heals for at the moment.
I think the gaming industry is kinda stuck in a rut at the moment. I think this recession has them playing it safe at the moment.
I think today's games lack the soul of earlier games...its so easy to jump into a game of mario brothers, but today's game model of having to skill up or work/earn your way into the game is a bit stand offish.
I will admit that all the weight I've loss on atkins was done on a couch playing eve online

I have a level 60 Hunter, Minstrel, Burglar on Lord of the Rings Online. Currently working on a level 51 Captain. It's my MMO of choice.
I play on my PS3 as well - Bioshock and Fallout 3 are the current obsessions. Also picked up The Orange Box so I could play Halflife. Love Oblivion and Assassin's Creed too!
I loved the Halo series. I hope another FPS comes out that captures my interest as well as that one did. Halo was my first foray into FPSes, and it got me hooked.
Haven't delved into board games much this past year, but the games I do enjoy are Puerto Rico, Settlers of Catan, Carcassone and my all time fave - Backgammon

I have not played for a few weeks - I made myself give it a break.

Warlock lvl 72 (My first char ever but have not leveled much since WOTLK came out
Many MANY under lvl 50 alts!
My partner and 9 year old son also play!
Before WoW I has a FPS kinda girl - I played Medal of Honor Allied Assult and also ran online gaming leagues!
Talking about MOHAA has made me want to get my disks back out again!
My first ever game was DOOM - talk about pixelated!
I am not sure if I am a nerd, geek or freak LOL
