  • OMG I AM FEAKING OUT FOR REAL!!!

    I think I have a radiation burn from my laptop!!!! Seriously is that possible ....I have been online a lot in the past few days and I have a laptop and the front of my thigh is sunburned!!!! in a pattern!!!! OMG what is it????? If I get cancer from this I am going to be really pissed off!!! :anger :anger :anger :anger :anger

    Chances are its just heat rash, regular burn. I use a plastic cutting board to keep myself from getting burned.

      I'm really sorry nursey, but I am literally laughing out loud. My sides hurt. Stop it, you're killing me.

      First it was laptops cause infertility (which happens to be true) and now nursey has laptop induced sunburn patterns. I think you're gonna be OK.

        ok so it is funny...but really is there radiation in thiis thing? you know how they say cell phones cause tumors well what if I get a tumor on my thigh?.... :yikes :yikes :yikes I know I am a dork and over reacting but it looks strange .....and well nurses can be a little bit neurotic you know :speechle: :laughing

            First, cell phones don't cause tumors, several studies have shown that.

            Second the only thing you'll get from your laptop is heat.

            Unless you eat some of your laptop parts in which case you'd get some heavy metals. But unless you plan to do that you probably just got a mild heat burn. It must be very mild, they don't get that hot. So quit whining and go give somebody a shot.

              Ok you guys.....


              I was pretty sure the tumor thing with the cell phone was fake but have kept mine dead in the bottom of my bag now for a couple of months just to be on the safe side!!!

              thanks...because you know a big part of me was really freaking out thiinking it was a radiation burn!
