    Good Old Dr. Atkins was saying this for years and everyone thought he was a quack....

    Oh, how the masses are easily manipulated by the press....

    Only thing I see wrong with the study is how small the drop in A1C levels actually was. I figured it would be a greater drop than reported. But at least the study did link that the factors of overweight and diabetes come from the same root, improper insulin metabolism.

    Yay!!!! A good study!!!!

      That's very informative, Georgiana. Thanks for posting it. I emailed it to my husband who is diabetic because I've been trying to get him on Atkins but he just won't give up his sweets. Maybe the article will help nudge him in the right direction.
