  • Question about avatars in profile

Hi all. I'm trying to get the little pic in my sig. up by my name, location, and all that. I have my pics in an album in Sony Image Station. Someone already sized them down for me, and yet they are still not small enough. The pixels are 100x61 and the profile update keeps telling me I need under 59x59. However, I have noticed there are other's who have pics up there that aren't that small. What can I do?

I save my avatar directly to my computer and upload it from there. I only use an outside source to post pictures. Hmmmm...if you guys can't see my avatar let me know please!
edited to add: goofy pic of me in my sig is linked to villagephotos.com

I guess what I need to figure out is how to make the picture fit the required size. I've no idea how to do that.

With it being just a little oversized, you can host it then link to it. If you need it hosted, send me a PM and I'll give you an e-mail address to send it to. I host the pics for our ADBB members for free.

You can use a variety of free programs that will resize pics to meet the 80x80 limits. Do a Google search on 'thumbnail'.
