Msg sitting in Sentbox

I was wondering...

When our messages are sitting in the sentbox, and waiting to be picked up (ie no read receipt has come back confirmed), and we delete them, does that mean the receiver doesn't get these messages? You know, like in the old board, when we deleted messages from the Outbox (ie before they ended up read and in Sentbox), then the receiver wouldn't get them.

So I was wondering if it was the same on the new boards? Like can we edit a message still sitting unconfirmed read in the the sentbox, or is it considered already sent to the receiver's inbox?

The Sentbox works differently here. Messages are delivered 'as-is' immediatlely even if you delete or modify them before pickup by the recipient. However, I did not test this with a 'read receipt' turned on.
