how come when we click on the public profile it only says if they belong to the women's or men's forums? why not the supporting members and the volunteerboard too?

yeah i couldn't find the one forum and looked and it wasn't listed. But then I found it... duh

Some forums are blocked from 'regular' members view so by default they won't show up on your public profile view.

rats, I was thinking that would be a good way to get some folk to wonder about those forums and maybe send a Pm or post a topic about it so we could get some new folk.

But hey I can't see the boys forum but that isn't blocked from the public profile membership view for girls is it?

If it makes sense to have the Volunteer and Supporting Member forums display on the main index for all members (without access until they request) then we'll do that. There were no specific reasons for hiding them from public view.

Oh yeah. Make it visible so they can at least see it and wonder what goes on in there....like the women's forum.

Perry the men's forum does not show up on females main forums index but it does show up when we click on the profile of a guy who is a memeber in his membership area. that is all I was asking about making the supporting and the vol boards show up in the membership area of the profiles of members of those forums not on the main board index

OK. Please check the 'member' profiles and use your User CP to view 'Group Memberships' and tell me if everything is visible to some extent.

No problem! It took a while to figure this out.

Now, next question... do you think the Volunteer and Supporting Member forums should show up on the main index? Non-members will be able to see the 'title' but not read or post threads.

on question about that issue Perry there is a feature now that allows us to lay the pointer on the topic in the new posts and read the first post without opening it. will that show up as unopenable new posts and have that or will they be like the invisible mens forum for ladies and not show any where?
