Suggestion for improvement

I like the boards here at ADBB. I use several different forums on the 'net, mostly tech ones. I find that on other forums users really dislike when people's signatures contain lots and lots of pictures and what not. I know when I'm at work browsing the forums, I don't want someone to walk by and see all these flashy pics.

So my suggestion is to have an option where all signatures are collapsible. Sometimes you want to just browse through the forums without all the clutter.

I think the same about avatars, BUT at least with avatars there is only 1 pic and its size is limited, thus making them less of a nuisance.

I think that's a great idea! I love the pictures and like seeing how far they've come but being able to view just the stat line with maybe a link to view pictures would be a good idea, especially if there is a spot on the 'pictures' link to say when it was last updated.

If you go to your "user cp" and "edit options", you can un-check the boxes to remove the capability of seeing things like signatures. It is very handy, especially for those more 'discrete' viewing pleasures while at work.
