  • Help - I need the Geek Squad for Ticker!

Help! I was able to put a ticker on, but now when I make another updated to reflect #'s lost, it keeps showing the old ticker.

What is the proper way to update your ticker? In the preview it shows the new one, yet after I save the old one keeps showing up.

    Thanks.

Ruthiek, I am going to move this thread to a forum better suited. You should get more answers that way.

I've noticed that mine does that also occasionally, I just make sure I delete the old one and paste the code for the new one, and then save it and check one of my posts until it updates.

Re: Help - I need the Geek Squad for Ticker!

You must go back to the site and recreate a new ticker each time you want to update it. The link you are using in your signature points to a specific picture (ticker) in the ticker factory database, so changing it in your siggy does not change the one at their website.

        Hope this helps!

I make my new one, paste it ,and then after making sure its permanent ,delete the old one.

Re: Help - I need the Geek Squad for Ticker!

I've got a word doc with all my Atkins references. Induction list, good website links, and all my signature stuff. The same kinda thing happened to me, even with my picture.

This also allows you to store future ticker codes ahead several at one visit. (When I find out how to summon the Whooshie Fairy on command, I'll do that! )

I grab the new code, click once on the visible ticker to select it, and paste & save.
