Just poking around in the board - finally got to "who's online" and found a lot of viewing by "Yahoo! Slurp Spider".

They are common on all boards. It assists in Internet searches. When you do a search on the internet these "spiders" are what enable the searchs. Type in Atkins and ADBB will come up, due to the "spiders".Bren

I believe it's part of Yahoo's search engine, and people are being connected to this site using Yahoo's search. They're finding us!

I bet the bots are also responsible for the targeted pop-ups that frequently seem to pertain to a particular thread, and the generation of spam selling items related to forums you've visited
