        Yes, there should be some sort of chat. The old chat software broke and brought down the server one too many times. Tom experimented with some new chat software, but it was extremely expensive. Tom has said he will implement the chat software, but more recently he has said he is extremely busy at the moment. Please give him some patience. I know Tom realizes the desire of the people to get chat back, so I am sure it is high on his things to do when life settles down for him.

        I have personally looked at sending everyone over to LCBB chat site, but at the time being, I have not found the link in the vBulletin software yet to accomplish it.
        I am still working on that as well but am personally in the middle of studying for big certification test. It will happen, I am just looking for the link.

          I have used the link Jimmie jo gave us and it doesn't let us in as it says invalid user name. I registered the user name and logged in with a pass owrd and still it says invalid user name I even tried evilhighcarber as a user name since nobody could have that one but nope it says invailid user name so that one for nonLCBB meembers is useless too.

          I started this topic cause back in the spring it was down and I ask in PM as was assured it would be up and running and it never was I ask again and still it never was fixed so now when it is out here asking.

          we can't schedule any board chats any induction chats any any Atkins chats.

              I couldn't log in, either. We used to schedule daily chats there, so I know it used to work. It's a neat system for chat.

                  so when it this test of our chat going to be done? the FCC only requires q weekly test of the EBS and only for 30 seconds.

                        since the software for the LC other board chat has a free version why don't we have that at least since we are being referred to their chat for use but can't get in. it is set on admin chat

                          Spoke with Tom and he knows that its down. He is working on a better program. Be patient and we can still use the LCBB Chat until he gets it done.

                            dessertthorn have you been in the LCBB chat cause i and other ADBBers can't acees it. it has nothing to do with firewalls for me cause I can acess the chat on 3 other low carb boards

                                I have been telling the folk that be in charge that the other chat don't work but I keep seeing replies that we should be using it.
