Yes, it'd be very nice to have live chat. It's currently on the to-do list. I understand it's been down for a very long time, and Tom's aware of it. That's the best any of us can tell you...all we know.

No actually I haven't been to LCBB in a long time so I haven't tried the chat. I thought they were going to link it over here. Maybe they can't.

dessertthorn have you been in the LCBB chat cause i and other ADBBers can't acees it. it has nothing to do with firewalls for me cause I can acess the chat on 3 other low carb boards

Actually, Tom HAS been working on it, behind the scenes, and had asked a few of the mods to take a look at it and tell him what it said for a few days, starting a few days ago. It hasn't been letting us in, it's not fixed.


THE RESPONSE YOU GOT WHEN IT DIDN'T WORK IS WHAT EVERYONE IS GETTING, EVEN MODS/ADMINS OF THIS BOARD.

I would suggest that you now wait for the post that says,
It's Official, Chat Is Fixed, and stop frustrating yourself by trying to get into it constantly.

Haven't got a clue what you are talking about there other then boot camp is starting.

again finding out after the fact about a board feature change availible to all members and visitors doen't do anything to prevent discussion about them while memebers are waiting for information

lynne, i think we're all getting that access denied message. i even tried a new account and still nothing. like you said, it's a bit closer and at least we know tom was trying to fix something.

see as Jimmie said we all got excited about chat being there again.

oh and Jasmain for your information many ADBB folk when ADBB got the new chat had firewall issues and couldn't get in so folk will be asking if others can get in just to be sure it isn't their firewall amd or Browser keeping them out. Poor Mog went from being there daily to never being there cause of her firewall issue. And AOL never let anybody in.

i remember that! mog couldn't get into that new chat room because the work computer blocked her. old one worked good for her.
gosh i haven't been in the chat room since the old one we had.
