I really enjoyed this!

there are some really really cute ones - and some that were a bit shocking but I laughed anyway. didn't like the ones were the face was getting cut up or bit by something .......but all in all a blast!

This is a test of 5 "different" smiley pictures that all bear the code ;violent_s (substituted ; for : ). Unfortunately they all appear the same. And noe of the 5 I clicked was this one.


Noticed 1st time opening http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ote=1&p=506781# (smiley page) that it took MUCH, MUCH longer to open, with over 1600 items to download. *sad*

Is anyone working on this? (Please note my preior post as well...)

Just so everyone knows. The smilies are a Work in Progress. Ask and you shall receive and Tom gave us over 1800...... now we have to sort through and keep the ones we want. And yes, there are some offensive ones. We are working on it!

I don't see the slowness being an issue, you can still use the board while the page is loading in the background, and once loaded you can most likely just leave it open while you are posting on the board rather than open it every time you wanna use it?

Aside from the violent ones, which i'm sure tom will remove, i think they're pretty cool!

sadiejen, some of us are having some real issues with the loading. the slower computers (like mine) are not even loading all of them, basically not even a quarter of them. i get errors on the page and while it's trying to load them all, my other window works very slowly too. i would imagine that the members who are still on dial up are having a horrible time.

i have left the smiley window open for long periods of time and it only loads so many then quits.
it's all getting worked on.

2big, i think chat is going to be fixed. when i don't know. can't say anything about the recipe because i know nothing to tell. maybe bren will know the answer to that.

Even with a pretty good PC here at work, the load up is slow, plus they aren't organised at all (by type, for instance). But I don't want to leave the page open, because bandwidth hogging on the company network is much more likely to get the boss's attention, and then my freedom (and everyone else's) might quickly be toppled, and I'd have to STOP SURFING AND POSTING!!!
