help please

ok, once again I am having trouble updating my siggy. but I know whats causing it, I just don't know what to do about it.
In my siggy there is a red x where the believe thingy was. Its because of this dang x that I haven't been able to update.
Is there a way around this so that I can update or do I have to wait and wait and hope that the x once again becomes the word believe. Must I believe the believe will come back

i am not the techiest person but did you right click on the x and then choose show picture? sometimes that helps.
also the x will show it the direct link has been broken. that will happen if you have something in your siggy that came from your photobucket and then for some reason, the pictures is deleted from photobucket.

what i have had to do on a couple of occassions is just delete the red x and redo whatever it was that use to be there.

That happened to my avatar once--somehow the spot where you type the url was blank. I just retyped it and voila! my avatar was back.

Try deleting it from your siggy and re-pasting like Jo said. That should help. BUT it might not be ADBB--sometimes photobucket is just persnickety and decides not to work.

amen to that!! i kinda just stick with the adbb gallery now. you can upload right from your computer stash of pics without using photobucket and the things can be kept right there in your neat little space.

I'll have to ask DH or DS to read the right click for me....its all in norwegian! Thanks for the suggestions I'll give it a go in the morning!

if our mouses are the same and the choices are the same, 'show picture' would be the 6th choice down.
right click then choose the 6th option down. the first 5 you won't be able to click on.

i don't know if that helps or not. lol
it is a bit of knowledge though!
