needing help with a PDF

does anybody have the ability to make changes to a pdf? i have a chart that needs to have a few changes done to it.

I purposely use Adobe when I'm sending legal documents, that way they cannot be altered. If the author has given you the rights to edit the document, you may be able to make some changes using Adobe Acrobat. You probably have Adobe Reader.

There are programs that convert pdf's into editable documents. Scansoft is the name of it.

phode, it's a piece for our faq's forum. there were some things not quite right on it so i pulled it quite some time ago and figure it's time to tackle this again.
i do have the acobe reader. that's what the file is saved on. i thought i had tried using adobe acrobat but couldn't get anything change. i'll look into that more closely.

I have acrobat standard, and typically modify pdfs when they annoy me...

sorry, confused, i think we posted at the same time and i completely missed this.

is this something i can download or a separate program i have to install?

lyssie, hang loose with the pm. i want to investigate this a little more now. if i can learn to do this it would be better. learning is good.

i see the scansoft is something to be purchased and i am able to go that route at this time.
