I've been trying to load a custom avatar from another site, but keep getting the message "warning: url parsing on" or something like that. My avatar will show up in the preview, but then disappears when I leave the preview page. The url for the avatar is ridiculously long, so I wondered if that could have something to do with it. Also, I can't save the avatar to my hard drive - it has to be accessed from the smiley central (Zwinky) site. Any ideas, or should I just find another avatar? Thanks for any help.

its a piglet at the minute!
do a "print screen" then paste it in paint and crop out the part you want, either that or find something else! you will need it saved to your hard drive!HW 303Aug '04 SW-287 LW-232Restart - Apr 07 - SW 266 CW 225

the first thing that comes to mind is maybe the avatar is copyrighted so you can't save it and that's why it won't post and stay. just a guess on my part.

Re: How to load a custom avatar?
Thanks for the tips. The avatar is meant for MySpace pages and stuff like that. It's on a site where you can buy clothes, different hairstyles, etc. after you earn points. I've decided the website knows I'm way too old for that kind of thing, so it's blocking me! Guess I'll stick with Piglet for now.

that's not a HTML code is it? that's can't be used on our site. maybe that's why it's not working.
