Ticker

I have not been able to get my Ticker to work; either Ticker Factory or ADBB ones. I am getting the bbC links and putting it into the URL line on the Edit Sig page. Always says bad file. Is that the right line to insert it in?

put it in the text box as if you were making a post then click preview to see if it works.
if it does, click save and you should be good to go.

OK - I pasted my ticker link into the Text Box of my Signature, as you suggested. Then did a Preview. I see the URL link as I put it in but not the actual ticker. And I DID save it to, as you said. I know the link works because I can use it in regular eMail or in FireFox address bar. But maybe not here, for some reason. Everyone else does so I know this should be simple.

firefox may be the problem. it seems to me that a couple other people couldn't post some of the things because of it?? not sure about that though.

can you copy/paste this into your signature?

I did a copy\paste of the URL you sent, into my Signature .. but it is exactly the same one I have in there before. I DID see in your reply my Ticker Factory graphics. So perhaps it is working but I am just not seeing it. I deleted my first URL and just kept the one you sent (duplicate). It still does not show up in Preview though. I have read that it might not for awhile even though saved.

all i see is the url address. i though since i could see the ticker when clicking on the link that you would be able to copy and paste the ticker itself instead of the url.

i am not the techiest person by far. is there a BB code on your ticker when you go the site? if so, copy and paste that.

hey, i don't think you are copying the whole BB code. it's pretty lengthy, at least the one i just made is. make sure you are getting the whole code

Thank you - getting the WHOLE BBC code and pasting it into the Text box of Signature did the trick. Who says you are not a Techie !!
