When you subscribe to a thread, aren't you suppose to get messages in your e-mail when someone responds? Because if you do, I'm not.

yes, that is what is suppose to happen. make sure that is the option you have for the thread in question.
go to that thread and click on thread tools that you will find at the top of the first post of the page. choose subscribe to this thread or unsubscribe to this thread, whichever would apply. you might want to unsubscribe and then subscribe to it again making sure you choose the instant email option.
also, make sure that your email isn't sending the notice to your junk file or blocking it.

Yup, did all that
I keep checking and it's set on instant mail notification. I check my junk mail quite often so I know it's not sent over there. Not sure how you can tell if it's blocking it. But I've been on this forum about 5 years (wow! Has it been that long) and I've never gotten notification in the mail from this forum. I get it from my other forums though I'll keep playing around with it and see what happens.

susan, have you checked with your ip to see if they are the once blocking it? i know that every so often and ip will not recognize this board.
i have checked what i have access to and saw that everything is set for you to recieve the email replies, just as you have stated.
i have one other thing i can check but i don't know if it would be helpful.
