How do i post my ticker so that it will appear on my profile and so that when i post something, it will post as well?

First you create the ticker. Then you copy the BB code, paste it into your signature and save the signature. This should be it. To go to your signature, click on Quick Links, then Edit Signature. In case you can't find Quick Links, I've circled it in red in the image below.
