Subscribed Threads

So, I have set my options so that every thread I reply to I am subscribed to via instant email, but, it doesnt seem to be working? I got a couple of emails yesterday, but nothing today.

Is it because is it not as "instant" as it makes out or have I done something wrong?

I get one email notification on my threads but sometimes there will be more than one post to it. But my email only shows me one.

In general, you will only get a notification for the first reply posted after yours in a subscribed thread, unless you visit the forum. This is mentioned at the end of every notification email:

"There may also be other replies, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again."

So, for example...

You post in "green beans on Induction???" thread and you are automatically subscribed to it.

After you post, I am the first one who replies there. This will automatically send you an email notification saying that Georgiana has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to.

Unless you go and read my reply, you will not receive further notifications for replies posted in the "green beans on Induction???" thread.

It means that nobody responded to it yet, usually. I mod another board and it is the case there. It will not notify you unless it is responded to.

I moved all replies from the Main Atkins Diet forum to the Testing and Technical Questions forum.
