New Contest - Submit a video -- "How has ADBB helped you?"

In celebration of National Atkins Day (August 1) and with Tom's gracious financial backing, we have decided to make a video contest. Tell us what ADBB has done for you in 60 seconds or less. We want to know what Atkins Diet Bulletin Board means to you, or how has it helped you achieve your weight loss goals or healthy living?

The first place winner as determined by a panel of judges (admins) will win $15 gift certificate to a retailer, such as Netrition or Amazon or another low carb retailer of our choosing. The second place contestant will get a $5 gift certificate.


With that in mind here are the rules of the contest:

Contest Rules

• Please submit only your own original content
  
• Any video content or comments will be reviewed and likely edited before being uploaded and posted to in a final collage
• You must be at least 18 years old to participate
• Moderators and Admins are not eligible to win the contest, but are still encouraged to post their videos
  

Submission Requirements & Judging Criteria

• The videos will be reviewed by administrators based upon the subject on how the ADBB community has benefited you.
• Deadline for submissions is August 8, 2008
• Video must be shorter than 60 seconds in length with a file size of no more than 25MB (suggested resolution 320x240)
• Videos will be judged upon:

• Originality
• Creativity

• First place will get a gift certificate for $15 to a low carb retailer. The second place entry will get $5 gift certificate to the same store.
• The suggested means of transport is to either post the video, such as here in our gallery, or to send it to me (bowulf -at- gmail dot com) via a site like Yousendit (YouSendIt - Send large files - transfer delivery - FTP Replacement).
• By entering the Contest, all entrants grant an irrevocable perpetual non-exclusive license to Authorized Parties, to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries (along with a name credit) in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest and the Board in general.
  
• All people in the video must grant their permissions to have their likeness and image used by ADBB.
• If submitting more than one entry, the contestant must specify which one they wish to have judged as only one video per contestant will be evaluated.
