Re: Members of Curves
I LOVE it. It's sooo easy. I feel like I'm not doing enough, but my heart rate feels differently (lol). I haven't been going for the past 4-5 months due to drama in my life, but I'm getting back on track and I'm sooo excited about it.
I would recommend it to anyone! I love that it's all women too (and not just skinny women). I feel super comfortable there.
Go for it! I did.

Re: Members of Curves
I'm not a member, but neither my chiropractor nor my physiotherapist recommended it for a variety of reasons:
1. I'm already beyond that level
2. you cannot get reliable resistance from hydraulics
I need more free weights and/or weight machines, even though I do use resistance bands for some training.
Also, I personally, after checking it out, didn't like
(a) the music
(b) the regimental method (if I want or need to spend more time on an exercise, I don't want to be forced to move just because)
(c) if I'm having problems with an exercise, rushing through it just to get to the next one isn't the way to goStarted Atkins: 21 Sep 2003

Re: Members of Curves
I havent been since last fall and just this week rejoined and am glad that I did. It is the right level for me at this time.
I have missed how well I felt going there. The only mistake I made was going 6 days a week and doing an extra lap around each time. I did some repetitive damage to my shoulder and wont make that mistake again. I will now keep it to the reccomended 3 or 4 sessions each week and walk on opposite days.
