70's, because I was a kid and not a care in the world. just got to be a kid.

I am really happy right now so now is good. (I voted too.) I really like the music today that my kids listen too and me too now... I like how the styles are so whatever! a little of this and a little of that and it's all good... I like the hair... my dd is always changing hers... so are her friends with little streaks of pink or red or what ever... never the same... I like that secrets are talked about openly now in schools and everywhere and that people are dealing with issues and that being authentically yourself is 'in'.... I like the technology we have now... ipods, cell phones, facebook, ADBB, TV recordings... CD players...(okay that's kinda old technology) I like the sports equipment we have now and how much thought goes into your 'sport'... I like how we celebrate the music of the past and how I went to the pops for a 'mystery classics concert' and it was a group singing beatles hits with the symphony. I like how we can jump on a plane and go anywhere in the world. and I like that we have CT scans that are 3D just like a picture...
cool stuff happening nowadays... I like how my kids are right now and how mature they are and the fact that they have hopes and dreams and are working hard to achieve them... These are the good old days! I think I'll look back on this decade as the best time of my life... or maybe it just gets better????

I'm guessing hopejoy is going to be one of the exception rather then the rule. I assume most people will pick the decade they grew up in, aybe up to college level or so before the "real world kicks in but after you start experiencing those things that really make you You. You know?Grant

Actually, my childhood was sucky... parents devorced at 5 yrs... latch key kid, in the middle of two unhappy immature parents constantly fighting over me and making me pick and then being mad if I didn't pick them... arghhhhh! Had ulcers at 13.
Now I really don't ****ing care! I do what I want and if they don't like it, tough... toenails... so over all that! and making a better life for myself and my kids... have world's best husband too that adores me... adoration is so hard to resist ya know! lol! I liked alot about the 60's and 70's... age of innocence and all that... but now is the best time for me... took me awhile to get to this point. I am a kid at heart too... pediatric nurse and all that... in touch with my inner child... Now I'm in control of what happens with and to me. Choices are limitless!
