Most of my presents have been bought, and I have spent around £200 on them. So make that about $400 in your money

i have yet to start unless you count the puzzle book i got for my mom. i only have a few to buy for, jack has spent way over the limit on himself already, others will get gift cards or cash. ds will get that and maybe a night out on us at the steak house.

i'll have to add that up and make my choice on the poll.

looks like about $400 or so, maybe a little more.

OMG!!! I just added up the receipts that I have for DS's Christmas gifts...$849 on just his alone! DH's was $300 on it's own. The other gifts bought were around $400 or so. I'm estimating that we've spent about $1500 for all of the gifts that we need to buy. Good thing we had the Christmas clubs!!! And we even cut back out list this year!

well over $400, but i got 3 kids along with 8 nephews and 1 niece! Plus my parents, brother, SIL, sister and BIL! I didn't spend much on each but it sure adds up! I started shopping back in June though

We're also doing another Christmas in january when my husband gets back so i gotta buy for that side of the family :P

I generally end up spending around $2000. for christmas. Laptops, game systems, things like that add up quick. It is usually around 1500. for my kids and hubby and 500. to take care of other people.

Well, I'm a stingy one (around $300 if my dollar/euro conversion is correct) ... but I only really do the two boys. We have a tradition that grownups (hub and MIL) get tiny token pressies only... question is... when it comes to Christmas and birthdays, why aren't my boys considered "grown up" at 22 and 19????

I spend about $200 per child at 5 children that adds up. The older ones get token gifts but then I have to spend money on their spouces and the oldest has 3 kids of his own. Add to it gift exchanges at work (both jobs) and collections for bosses~~~~~~~~~~~

I am a definite last min shopper...but I have bought the grandkids their christmas..I have spent a little over $300 thus far...have way more to buy...usually around the $2,000 Mark...

You know, the thing that you swear to yourself that you won't spend more than that amount on people you love or hardly spend time with throughout the year...and yet, some how that one little thing you love to have someone have some how magically makes you over the limit....


We set ours at $500...and I don't want to go over because then it'll cut into my after-Christmas shopping budget. I love to shop for 75-90% of sales afterwards

We generally spend around $1500.. I have two teenagers and you can barely buy anything for your money..and I have LOTS of nieces and 1 nephew.. On my husbands side of the family we draw names for the adult...so we buy for 2.. On my side of the family we don't buy for the adults.
