I love berries and really wouldn't even miss most other fruits. However, now that I am here I am finding it difficult to exercise self control. A half cup seems so small. LOL

So I am using them in things like blueberry cheesecake or with yogurt instead of eating them plain. Otherwise i will tend to keep grabbing a couple more until I am way over my allotment. And yes, they are living up to my expectations. The only other thing I really miss is an occasional 1/2 of a baked sweet potato (but I have a long wait for those).

I thought beans were the "musical fruit"?
Beans were probably my most anticipated rung - I am there now. But it has been somewhat frustrating because the bean allotments are so small that I cannot really do much with beast - except eat a few of them. But I sort of managed to fall in love with soy while on this rung something I never ate before. Soy milk has moved up on my favourite list.
So since beans is rather a disappointment, berries are my favourite so far. They sure are tasty.

You know, I always said 'magical,' but I suppose 'musical' makes more sense since they do make you toot!

I was most looking forward to beans, but I rarely eat beans now - I prefer berries, so when eating more carbs I tend to go for them.

im looking forward to berries and whole grains. I love blue berries so much and raspberries, and strawberries. mmm. i could do so much more with food if i could use berries.

and whole grains...well i think that speaks for itself. it would just be nice to have a low-carb wrap once in a while, rather than the sloppy lettuce wrap.

Shoooooot, veggies make more noise than beans.

I'm looking forward to BEANS/Legumes!! Well, legumes really because I love chili and peanuts---but not together, of course.
