Lisa M has been a member of the board almost since day one. She joined on April 17, 2003. She started a journal almost one year ago on October 27, 2005.
Lisa caught my attention as i watched her entries. She spoke of school and earning degrees, doing homework and family matters.
These are the things that led me to ask Lisa to become a Journal Chats Hostess awhile back. Shelly, floydgirl and I were all on board that Lisa would be a very good addition to the team. She first turned me down. Her schedule was such that she didn't feel she could be effective. Shortly thereafter she graduated and we were so proud of her! She was succeeding in school and her woe!
It was then that i saw a post and Lisa had commented how she had some free time now that school was over for the summer. I jumped right on that and asked her to hostess, just for the summer months, a busy time in journals. She agreed and spent this past summer greeting and congratulating the other members of the journals.
Lisa has been a ribbon winner in the 6 WEC. She placed third in the #20 challenge, losing 18 inches and 5.5 pounds during the 6 weeks.
Lisa, I thank you for helping out in journals and for the way you continue to visit as your schedules allows. I thank you for paying it forward when you had the free time and I thank you for being the person that you are.
Congratulations! You are my Member of the Day!!
