So today is my 100th day on Atkins (this time around.) Outback Jess really inspired me with her "dates" that held importance...and her 100th was one of them. I decided to check my progress on my 100th day, just as an affirmation, an inspiration, a reality check, and a re-evaluation day.
This is what I looked like when I started in August. I wish this picture were larger so you could see how large I TRULY was:

And even though it's frigidly cold so I'm wearing sweats, this is what I look like this a.m.--I SERIOUSLY just rolled out of bed. No makeup, no hairbrush, no nothin'--this is 100% me. I need to take a shower.

In 100 days, I've lost 44lb.
I've gone down from a size 20 to a size 14/16.
My emotional wellbeing has improved--I no longer have mood swings, irritability (irritability for reasons unknown, that is...if someone makes me mad, I'm still grumpy!), I no longer have "blue" days.
I no longer drink caffiene--I was an 8-can-a-day soda girl, now I drink LOTS AND LOTS of water.
I work out 5+ times a week at the gym, doing Boot Camp, Kickboxing, Yoga, Weight Training, Circuit Training, and using various cardio machines (I love you, elliptical!)
I have TONS of energy--enough to keep up with ALL of my students, no matter what their age or what time of day it is.
I feel healthier than I've felt in years. I don't have a desire to eat bread, potatoes, chips, pizza, etc. but I will admit to craving chocolate when it's TOM--but that doesn't mean I give in!
I have found THE BEST resource for information, support, laughter, caring, recipies, critiques, advice, wisdom, and knowledge--ADBB. And this isn't meant to be some sappy PR thing...I don't think I would have been this successful, or still on the straight and narrow if I hadn't found ADBB. This is truly an amazing support system that I turn to each and every day. So on this day 100, I really want to thank ALL of you on here, because every post I read, every thread I start, every day I write in my journal, I learn something new.
