  • The SPLITS!!!!

    Ok, I just have to tell y'all, today I got down in the splits. I haven't done that since high school. If it weren't for this board, there is no way I would have stuck to my exercising, and there's no way the splits would have come!

    Dang! I've never been able to do the splits...unless they were banana, of course.

    Way to go on your renewed flexibility and energy!

          Ok, I don't get it, splits like the cheerleaders do??? Just one simple question, Why? and how do you get up?
          Congrats...if this is a huge accomplishment to you, the you can count on me to applaud your efforts...Many of these nice people don't know you get up at 4:30 in the morning to exercise before you kids all get up...they don't know how hard you have been working, while everybody is asleep...YOU ARE POWERFUL!!!!!

            Wow, you did the splits and didn't even get stuck down there? Impressive for sure! Were you a cheerleader in high school? And why is it that you even decided to try doing the splits anyway??

                    EXCELLENT! That is one of my secret (ok, not anymore) goals! I used to be able to do sideways splits - never the front ones. I would LOVE to be able to do both at some point before I die. Why? I'm silly - and I think its COOL! So that is VERY, VERY impressive... Tell me - what stretching exercises did you do to lead up to this????? I'm keen to know!

                      No I wasn't a cheerleader in high school. And the purpose of getting down in the splits was because of a joke between my husband and I...and that's all the farther I'll take that one. (hee, hee....)

                      Stretching, just lots of leg stuff, getting my nose down to my knees and hand flat on the floor and all sorts of stuff like that, and it happened. Keep going, Kacey! You will be able to do it!
