  • 50 Pounds!!!

I weighed in this morning....and I have now offically lost 50(52 to be exact). Seems like not that long ago that I started my new way of life(started November 1, 2006). I worried at first that maybe the loss was a little too fast, but since I lost 20 during induction, the loss has been a steady 3 or so pounds per week. Just wanted to share.

      Congratulations on losing 52 pounds!

That's a wonderful accomplishment of taking care of you on this journey.

It may seem like a lot really fast in the beginning, but every person is different based on the amount of fat and water retention their body hold. It looks like you're doing a great job!

Best wishes on your continued journey!

Thanks everyone. I only have 12 posts because I'm more of a lurker here. I try to answer questions or offer insight if no one else has for a newbie, but everyone here is usually good about chiming in with an accurate answer very quickly. The first two months have been a breeze, but things are definitely slowing down now. I'm in the Memorial Day Challenge(and with a lofty goal) to try to help me stay motivated to keep pushing myself. Thanks again for the encouragement. Hace a nice day!

Awesome stuff jt! Just curious, did you do an extended induction, or did you transition to OWL after 2 weeks?

I'm on day 9 (14 pounds down), and I'm going to be facing that decision shortly. Just wondering how you've gone about your achievement.

                            Cheers,
