  • Silly's Exerciser of the Week, January 10

    She started with us on August 25th (06) and said "I think I'm going to start walking/running".

    On August 29th she bought herself a new pair of walking/running shoes

    Shortly thereafter she started training for a Marathon on March 17th!

    She has lost 45+ pounds and is currently in the January Mileage Challenge.

    ADENA! Congratulations! You have been chosen as the Silly's Exerciser of the Week. You deserve this day, enjoy!

      Adena! Congratulations!!!

      You deserve this SO much! I am so impressed by your dedication to working out--you got a gym membership, you have a regular schedule, and you get up at 5am to do it!!! You are going to melt before our eyes...keep up this great work!

        Awwww, shucks. Thanks you guys!!

        I feel especially proud of this because, while I have exercised on and off throughout this process, I've really ramped it up during the past few weeks with both my marathon training (HALF marathon, I should specify! I'm no ttdriver! ) and other exercise. With my losses so far, I've seen body changes, yes, but I am newly convinced of the hugely more significant transformation that comes through exercise.

        Yes, I'm getting up at 5 a.m. every day and going to the gym. And, on Saturdays, meeting Outback Jess at a park near our homes for a "long run(/walk)." I am really feeling good and loving making exercise a daily part of my life!
