after 4 weeks of being on phase two and only on the veggie rung, and not losing a pound i was getting desperate. however this time around i wasnt going to give up. i was at 186 for a month and i couldnt understand why. yesterday i stepped on the scale and i started cracking up cause i though that it wasnt calibrated. checked again and i just stood there with my mouth open cause it said 178.
what seems to happen to me is that ill lose 10 lbs and then plateau for several weeks before i lose again. when i quit atkins during my first attempt, it was because i didnt lose anything for two weeks. now that im noticing this, im gonna finish this and put one of the most painful aspects of my life to rest.
if anyone here is running into a stall, consider doing this. mark your weight on a calendar and see if you can notice a cycle or pattern in your weight loss. in the past, i quit too early, thinking it wasnt going to work. had i waited two more weeks,i would have lost something. i have to be patient with my body, it will lose it in its own time and not mine.
btw i readded splenda and tea into my diet and i still lost weight. however my water intake remained the same.
