    That's right, I attended the SF Giants game tonight and DID NOT get nachos. Or a pretzel. Or a churro. Or super nachos. I'm really proud!

    Nachos, or just chips & salsa, are my favorite thing. I've met people who cannot keep ice cream in their house because they will eat it and eat it until it's all gone; I'm like that with chips & salsa. This is the underlying fear in the back of my mind with Atkins - when can I have my chips & salsa?

    I'm on day 8 of induction and would have preferred to avoid a tempting situation like that but my son had the opportunity to sing tonight's national anthem with a bunch of other local SF kids out on the field. It was great!

    By the way, does anyone have some crunchy spicy snack recommendations? Would jicama & salsa be good? And what's the scoop on pork rinds? The idea of pork rinds terrifies me but I see several references to them here on the board so it seems people are surviving them...

    WOO HOO! Good for you, for passing on the nachos and other stuff! And... it just gets easier as you go along. Soon you won't even miss that stuff.
