    One year Cigarette Free!

    Just tooting my own horn today.

    I am ONE YEAR CIGARETTE FREE!

    I am at goal weight.

    I am a runner.

    I am no longer a slave to a cigarette. I no longer have to know every moment when/where I can next light up. I can leave the house without worrying if I have my cigarettes and lighter. I can go out to eat and not worry about whether I can smoke or not.

    I am healthy.
    I can breathe.
    I don't have sinus issues, upper respiratory problems or fatigue.

    Big thanks to each of you who helped me get to today.

    Wow is that a whole year already? I remember you saying last year that you were giving up. Congratulations.

    And my, don't the years go by quickly these days. How scary is that?

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      Joy, here's a HUGE congratulations! Not only did you give up an unhealthy habit, you've stayed "clean" for a WHOLE YEAR, and accomplished great things--becoming a runner, eating on-plan, and reaching your GOAL! Here's to another year, smoke-free.

        Woooo-hoooo, Joy! That is awesome. What tremendous changes you've made in your life over the past couple of years. You are a lean, mean, smoke-free, healthy machine!

          Rich, it doesn't seem possible that a whole year has flown by! When i looked at the calendar and it dawned on me what today was, I just couldn't believe it.

          Julie, yep..."clean" a whole year, starting another one...

                            wow joy i am SO happy for you, i told you that i lost my wonderful mom a while back due to smoking. it almost killed me too. not only have you given YOURSELF the gift of good health. you have give all your LOVED ONES the gift of YOU!!!! what an accomplishment. i am so so so proud of you and happy for you!!!! enjoy a smoke free, low carb day!
